Local cheese or chocolate
Hunter Valley tours are not just about the wine. The area is home to some other great local produce and a day in the hunter valley is not complete without trying some local cheeses. On this tour we will visit either the Hunter Valley Cheese Company, Binoirie Diary or the Smelly Cheese Shop. With the Chocolate it’s all about visiting the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company and trying some of their great chocolates and fudges. We also have suitable storage on the bus to keep any items cool on the journey home.
Local brewery or distillery
The Hunter Valley is home to a number of breweries that all hit the spot at the end of a hard day wine tasting. Our personal favourite is the Hunter Beer Co at Potters Brewery. Work your way through the many craft beers available for tasting.
The Hunter Valley Vodka Distillery is a certified organic distillery right in the heart of the Hunter Valley. It is home to great Vodka, Liquor's and Schnapps and is always a popular stop before heading home.
Travel through Ku-Ring-Gai National Park
If you are doing this Hunter Valley wine tour with a pick up and drop off in Sydney you will travel through the beautiful Ku – ring –gai National on the way up to the Hunter Valley. The park is on the north fringe of Sydney and is the countries second oldest national park. The area is home to untouched eucalyptus forests, beautiful sandstone escarpments as well as the tranquil Hawkesbury River.

I organised our private wine tour around the hunter valley (stopping At two wineries, one beer tasting and one spirits) with 17 friends through Rebecca and James for my 30th birthday. It was such an amazing day, James was so relaxed and really helped to make sure we arrived everywhere on time and took the stress out of the whole day.
When booking the tour Rebecca was so great at explaining everything and even managed to put us all on the same mini bus After restrictions were lifted.
It made my birthday so extra special and I can’t thank them enough!

We've just had the most fabulous day on our Hunter valley private group tour for the 7 of us girls!!! Greg made the day exceptional with his knowledge of the Hunter, the wineries & distillery he took us & made sure we had the best expertise! Greg really went over & above our expectations!!
We've been on winery tours in the Barossa, Mclarenvale & The Yarra, this was by far the best day!!!
